Thinking & Learning Time Made Visible: iPhoneography & Portfolios

This was a combined session with Joanne Marie Babalis a kindergarten teacher, teacher-librarian, PhD student, and AQ instructor at York University.

Educators collect a lot of documentation throughout the school day and year. Participants learned how to organize it all with a documentation portfolio, were shown examples of portfolio content, and had the opportunity to hear what is included and why.

This workshop was geared towards educators who photograph play-based and inquiry-based learning and share these learning pictures using social media or on the walls of their classroom. Participants  the chance to practice using photography apps that can easily be incorporated into their program.
