The technology team heard extremely positive feedback during all stages of implementation of the project and all programs extended their deepest appreciation to Niagara Region Children Services for the investment made with this technology.
Participants at the project group training sessions were pleased with the workshops and information they received. In April 2015, an online survey was distributed to participating programs to gather feedback on the professionalism and efficiency of the technology team at installations; degree of satisfaction with the hardware and accessing technology support; and areas of interest for further training opportunities and/or supports. All respondents indicated they were either very satisfied or satisfied with all areas and some need for further training in Microsoft programs, tablet use, use of social media, website development, and strategies for using technology with children.
The ECCDC looks forward to providing ongoing support of the early years community’s strategies for using technology effectively and providing future training opportunities.
